Wet the stain by spraying water from a trigger sprayer. Use Q-Tip to apply Bar Keepers friend or CLR to the rust stained area. Massage a small amount of Baking soda into the area. Rinse with water.
Why this works: Both CLR and Barkeepers Friend have oxalic acid as their main ingredient. Oxalic acid dissolves rust, and makes it water soluble.
